To vinyl wrap a car or bike , the first process is to carefully review the shape of the vehicle’s exterior. Each curve and crease of the vehicle is taken to account so to create the perfect vinyl cut. To ensure that the vinyl wrap clings to the topcoat evenly, we have to clean the work surface to a spotless quality. We use premium quality car shampoo along with print-friendly degreasers to clear out any sticky contaminants on the car. After the car wash, the surface of the vehicle is inspected again to ensure proper cleaning.
Our experts will cut the vinyl to the right dimensions of the car to create a perfect fit. The size of the initial vinyl panels will be a bit larger than the part it is going to cover. The leftover parts of the vinyl will be cut off at later stages. During this step, we precut vinyl for every part of the vehicle that needs wrapping.
The vinyl wrap will be laid over the surface that needs to be wrapped. Then the backing of the vinyl will be peeled off to reveal the sticky side. The vinyl will be carefully placed on the body panel with the extra material evenly distributed over the edges. We will then press out the air bubbles and the wrinkles using heat and pressure.
The finishing process involves trimming the vinyl to fit the panel perfectly. This involves trimming the extra material and locking it in place by correctly edging the wrap over the panel edges. Applying heat to the surfaces will then create a strong bond between the vinyl and the body panel. Finally, the vehicle is given a wash and waxed.
Ceramic coating adds another layer on top of your paint, protecting the paint job from light scratches, elements, and chemicals.
Once hardened, the ceramic coating creates a glass light sheen on top of the paint. It provides additional shine to the vehicle.
